The Red Room Project live immersive event features the VR documentary (with the same name) about Shino Smoke’s “Red Room” in Oakland, CA followed by a live performance in a simulated Red Room experience. The Red Room is a place Shino has created for healing and cultivation of his music. Shino Smoke finds inspiration, connectedness, and healing in his Red Room for his artistic community after a traumatic incident, the Ghost Ship Fire, that killed many artists in his community. This 4-hour immersive experience brings Shino’s “Red Room” in Oakland to any space open to his vision. The Red Room is where participants can lounge, listen to music, make art, watch VR experiences of scenes from the Red Room Project VR documentary, and finally

have a collective group/cinematic VR viewing experience of the program followed by a Q & A  (with Shino Smoke and the director, Adele Ray). Following screening of the documentary, Shino Smoke will give a live performance of the songs created in his Red Room.
